HOUSE ABOVE SA RIERA

 

The plot, with an important slope, is in a dominant position on its surroundings, enjoying magnificent views of Sa Riera and the Illes Medes.

 

The project works with the idea of ​​using the natural slope of the land to create a staggered intervention, accessing from the highest point. The house is created with a set of two prisms that are embedded in the ground, with large openings to the views and a large overhanged terrace.

 

A south-facing courtyard is created at the level of access, located below the street. On the upper level there is the living area with large openings to the terrace, overlooking the sea. Downstairs there are the 4 bedrooms of the house, with a strip of services in the back.

 

The pool is at the lowest point, in relation to the garden, which is very natural, with native vegetation and minimal disruption of the topography.
